Gallery Birdhouses are the higher-end treasures that emerged during our tsunami birdhouse project. They feature the most unique materials and demonstrate the creativity of our Sri Lankan artisans. These are the pieces we used as samples and centerpieces during gallery exhibits and fund-raising projects.
These limited-edition, one-of-a-kind birdhouses were hand-crafted exclusively from items we personally salvaged following the devastating Southeast Asia tsunami of 2004. Designed to provide jobs and income for relief programs. See Tsunami Birdhouses in our Projects section for more information.
Birdhouses you purchase qualify you to claim a donation deduction on your income tax up to a maximum amount of SIXTY-SEVEN DOLLARS (for each house!).
