Sri Lanka and Maldives Video Travel Guide
I stumbled upon this Lonely Planet travel video today and found it a decent introduction to the area, especially for P2P Rescue’s American visitors. It’s hosted by an adordable although sometimes awkward young woman (Meg McCormick) as she travels the country and observes some of Sri Lanka’s many fine points.Sri Lanka is a place that lingers in the senses a long, long time. If you’ve been there, the video will quickly bring back some of the familiar sites, sounds, and smells of the country. If you simply want an overview of what the place is like, the video is worth the 45 minutes.
