Our Partners
We rely on the skills and activities of a variety of partnerships to be most effective.
P2P Rescue is proud to be closely affiliated with the following organizations:
- The Authorsdesk
- Organization that provides print, Web, and other companies a wide variety of media content, including writing, photography, audio, and video. Owned and operated by P2P Rescue Inc.’s Founder and Director, Sean T. Kelly.
- Berkeley Rustic Birdhouses
- California company that crafts unique handmade birdhouses from a variety of recycled materials. Key supporter of P2P Rescue’s Tsunami Birdhouse project.
- Mangofriends Puppet Society
- Indika Gamini, the leader of this Sri Lanka performance group, is 27 years old and a 5th-generation puppeteer. Indika comes from the most famous traditional family company of Sri Lanka: Gamini family and the family’s “Saranga Puppet Society” (Ambalangoda). Immediately following the tsunami of 2004, Indika and Premin (father) Gamini’s “Saranga Puppet Society” started touring under the management of Mr. Stefan Birckmann, (a 46-year-old German artist) through tsunami districts where they performed in camps, transitional housing, devastated community areas, and schools. Together they founded the Mangofriends Puppet Society (2005). P2P Rescue has partnered with the society to extend their run of performances, which P2P Rescue calls “Shows for Shelters.”
- Maximus (Pvt.) Ltd.
- Sri Lanka company that exclusively makes paper products from eco-friendly elephant dung. Founder Thusitha Ranasinghe shares a great deal of views about Natural Renewal with P2P Rescue. Proud winner of the 2006 WorldChallenge, sponsored by the BBC World and Newsweek, in association with Shell.
- Paavima
- Highly experienced international team of scuba experts working tirelessly on a volunteer basis to help restore reef damaged during the Tsunami of 2004, train locals to be dive masters, and build an underwater memorial in memory of those who lost their lives during the disaster.
